What do you do when you buy a PAL DVD in America?

I already know I'm an idiot, so there's no need to tell me that. I'm just wondering what my options are. I'm not above buying a DVD player from the UK, but what about power connections?

For instance, this one is only about $45, but Amazon.co.uk doesn't even ship that item to America.

Any ideas?

Buy a player that can do the PAL->NTSC conversion internally. A lot of the "lower" end players can do it, I have an Apex, a Samsung and a Cyberhome player that I have seen do it.

Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 you can get at Walmart or Sams Club for around $40 does the conversion but the aspect ratio gets scewed sometimes. The 400 and 500s are supposed to be better at perserving the aspect ratios. Check out places like Nerd-out forums and find out which specific players support the conversion..
