What do you do when a dream dies? :(

Oh and never let anyone tell you its impossible.

Everyone is capable of the same greatness and don't forget that. We all have brains of the same type and you are just as capable as someone else to become whatever you want to be, even if its such a specialized field there are only 10 elite in the world. You CAN become that person if your motivated enough.

Well except for Einstein. He had an advantage--part of the brain was larger for him, the parietal lobes I think its called? And Lance Armstrong (bike racer) his heart is like 20% above normal size so he has a lower resting heart rate and can win any race he enters 😛
But besides those mutants you are just as good.... so piss on the idea that a university can tell you what you are able to or not able to do.

Actually it's something else. I already went to a great college and excelled. Now I'm left with post graduation depression since I'm jobless and my original plan has gone down the drain. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with revealing everything to the whole world right now.

cmon
tell us

its not like we really know who you are 😛

wait, Mike is that you? 😛 j/k (if your name is Mike that was a lucky guess because seems like everyone is named Mike, Tom, Matt, Steve or David nowadays lol)

Either way you cannot be as bad off as Xiety... I mean, look at his sig *ducks* (J/K !!!!!!)

Actually this really depends on the situation:

1. If your dream was crushed by some bastard who said no, go there and regulate.
2. If your dream was crushed by an uncontrollable situation, there isn't much you can do.
3. If your dream is still slightly possible, keep trying.
4. If your dream is completely impossible, try to find a new dream.
5. Life is good, enjoy!

It's not dead. Why would you say it's dead? That's ridiculous.

It's just not going to happen the way you saw it. But then again, does anything ever?

The D fans know what I'm talking about. (All you other cave-dwellers need to buy Tenacious D's DVD on Nov 4th and watch the HBO shows. Until then, this thread will be meaningless. It just seemed appropriate to the OP.)

Death of a dream. A person goes through 5 stages when dealing with the death of a dream.
1 - Anger. "F***in' Captain Ed. He's probably not even a real captain. Did you see how f***ing fat that fat ass was?"
2 - Denial. "I don't want you looking like a hay-seed. Right? Right!"
3 - Door-to-door rocking. "I love you baby, but all I can think about is keilbasa sausage, your butt cheeks is warm" "Ok, thank you..."
4 - Selling yarn art
5 - Acceptance. "There were some scientists, trying to figure out the Sasquatch riddle..."
