2) Re-image a PC infected with spyware
3) Change backup drive on server
4) Upgrade a Win 98 system to Win XP SP2
5) Collaborate with supervisor on tomorrow's schedule
6) Clear MS Access database tables in preparation for next school year's lunch system
7) Show new staff how to log in/check email/etc
8) Check on status of quote for new PCs to replace old equipment
9) Call BCS to ask why their technicians haven't arrived on time for the 3rd time this week
10) Locate a company more capable than BCS to handle future communication hardware changes.

Not all on the same day but . . .

1) Run a steam sterilizer cycle with subminimum temperature and exposure time with biological indicators in place.
2) Calculate a lethality summary from the above, based on temperature data.
3) Examine an Air Handler installation and make notes on the engineering drawings.
4) Test the wiring of control devices by having an electrician generate a signal while I observe at the operator work station.
5) Tie thermocouples to glass bottles and send them through a dry-heat depyrogenation tunnel.
6) Simulate alarm conditions to verify proper equipment set up.
7) Write Exception Reports to explain problems in all the above testing.
8) Explain to quality assurance why Exception Reports are OK.
9) Write a summary report of all of the above.
10) Hop on a plane and fly home.

9) maintain population censuses
10) not be so motivated on a particular day and take long lunches and slack a bit.
