Just curious as to what occupations people on this forum have.

And are you currently happy with what you do?

If not, what would you rather be doing with your life?

Me personally,
I work in a factory. (not exactly my boyhood dream job)

Am I happy?
No, not really, although I make good money.
But I enjoy building Pcs & being tech support for family & friends in my spare time more.

My dream job?
Building, repairing pcs, being tech support for home pc users.

Tech support.

I'll be a lot happier when I finally get the raises I was promised ($1.25+/hr).

What would I rather be doing? Driving to work every day in a Ferrari, taking two hour lunches, & working 6 hour workdays. Three days a week.

Realistically? Have the ability to go to school & not work.

By day I am a junior network admin. During the evening I work on my beer belly and my RTcW MP skills.

I do mostly grunt work at a newspaper (ad bundles and inserts). Sometimes I get to proof, and very rarely, I go on scene and take a pic.

I don't mind the work, especially since it probably the best job in this area ( the job market here is roughly 0 ). I do worry a lot about the future though. I don't get paid enough to save much, nor do I get any sort of insurance through my workplace.

Ameesh, I'm curious as to how many hours do you end up working on a typical week?

I'm a database manager at a not-for-profit company.

Have two jobs, one as the tutor coordinator for University of Alaska Micro Computer Support Specialist program. Basically schedule and do all the admin stuff for computer tutors.

Second job, I work as a web developer for a web design firm here in town.

Last, but not least.. I'm a full time college student working on my Bachelors in Technology.

Well, in the summers I work in the local commissioners' office.

I'm happy there...but once I get my degree I want to work in DC. I'd be happy working behind the scenes of a politician.

But my dream job? President. Definately.
