Dropped out of college... didn't know what i wanted and still do not.

i went a semester of college at a local community college and just couldn't stand it. of course, they weren't offering anything that i was interested in at that time anyway.

i always thought that i wanted to work with computers, like all through high school. now i do and i'm not so sure i want to keep doing it (network admin/help desk guy for a medium manufacturing company currently). maybe its just not the right type of computer job i want or maybe its just the places i have worked so far. a hot, dirty, smelly factory was not where i was expecting to be. my area just sucks horribly for IT jobs. there either are none or you need 10 years experience or some obscure certification or something.

i honestly don't know what to do. i really don't want to go back to school. i'm still paying on my previous education, plus working and going to school is a major pain in the ass. i did it for 1 year while i wnt to that tech school and for 6 months when i did the computertraining.com thing.

-National Level Radar Technician ID4200 (full time)
-Tech-Ed Specialist for Transistor Standards 2006 (part time)
-Human Resources Administrator Assistant (part time)

My credentials don't really make me a better person than anyone else, as all other people who may work at Target Corporation to Microsoft Corporate International.

BS in Management and a minor in German from GA Tech.

I work for the German government...in the education business. I am also the unofficial official "IT" person for our small office.

I'm currently going after a bachelor's in information systems, but I work as a taekwondo instructor to keep the cash flowing when I'm not in school.

Same here

I have a semester of school left and am applying to grad school, but I might just go to work where I interned this summer... actually it's on the air transport end, but I hope to go into fighters/UAVs.
