Network admin/helpdesk/whatever needs doing IT wise.

Small company, so my job description is kinda all encompassing. If it involves electricity it falls in my lap.

Not the only one ... I'm Doing hardwood floors, tile floors, cabinets and home renovation at the moment. Background and education is in I.T. - and I'm just waiting for the right position to come along rather than just taking something.

Official Title: Level 2 PC/LAN Technician (moving to "Network Specialist" soon - official job titles are sooo accurate  )

I am "the computer support guy" for a K-12 school district. Viper GTS pretty much summed it up, except that I am a NY state employee, not employed by a private business. (that brings civil service exams and a whole layer of bureaucracy and red tape you don't want to get me started discussing!)

I am in IT auditing. I get to go in and look at a company's systems, and report on their deficiencies, mostly as it relates to Sarbanes Oxley.
