What do you do as soon as you format your harddrive?

After installing Win2K, I like to run chkdsk and then defrag. (Just force of habbit--probably doesn't do any good).

Then, restart and install SP2, 4in1 drivers, Detonators, et al.

I put down a prayer rug facing Redmond Washington.
While chanting "microsoft, microsoft, microsoft" pray to Bill and Steve
that my freash install will go well and all my components will get along.
This has never worked, but I'm afraid of what will happen if I don't.

I start to fill them up with all my file that I want to store in those new formatted drive :)

Before that I also rename the drive from local disk to something else.

D:\setup and hit enter, and not the any key. I haven't been able to find it anyway. :)

Bang my head because I lost a lot of info on my D: partition which I dont backup. But if its just C:, then I install an os.
