From Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, or even inside the U.S. prisons - I am wondering what people think is 'cruel or unusual pushishment' {US constitution 8th amendment}

It is interesting that the perceptions of this have changed over the decades. What was considered fine in the past, is today cruel & unusual. A good example is public floggings (still popular in certain areas of the world).

Some have even considered spider bites as such->Text

Note: this is NOT a thread on capital punishment. The debate on capital punishment as 'cruel and unusual' is onto itself a seperate topic.

EDIT: THIS ADDITION WAS INSPIRED BY A MEMBER E-MAILING ME ABOUT ADDING THIS TWIST.

Physical torture would be the worst for me. Especially with the weird parts like forced castrations and prying off the fingernails and stuff. Ugh *shudders*

I'll need to try them on you one by one, whichever one messes you up the most is the winner.

You forgot "forcing to touch or eat unclean food (against your religion or culture)"

After you eat, I'll tell you your meal contained delicious live insects, cats and dogs, and maybe some tasty human body parts from the other prisoners who died of "heart failure."
