Paula Deen, is that you??? You forgot the butter.
Whoops! I knew I was forgetting something. Grease the baking pan with two sticks of salted butter.

I guess it depends what google result you land on or what video you watch because everything nutrition related differs between sources. Been trying to work on eating healthier but it's so frustrating figuring out what to believe and what not to believe when it comes to nutrition.
Less sugar and less highly processed foods is a good start.
Rolled oats for breakfast (what I eat with 4oz of milk) have a reasonably low glycemic index (and low glycemic load, if you keep the serving size down). So carbs aren't necessarily bad. Here is a good list of the glycemic index for a bunch of carbs. That's basically what I've been doing as that seems to be the only thing that seems to agree across the board. Even carbs is an odd one, while most sources seem to say it's bad (because carbs is basically sugar) some sources seem to say it's not. Even seen some source say that oatmeal is good for you, which was something great to hear since I have it a lot... but look at the nutrition info and that's full of carbs.
Carbs aren't "bad" for you at all. It's just that most people won't have a few chips here and there. They will eat a whole bag in one sitting. Or they will eat a whole box of cookies. When people say bread is not healthy, I just roll my eyes. I mean it's not like you are eating a fruit or anything, but having some bread with a meal is far from "unhealthy" like people try to make you think. That's basically what I've been doing as that seems to be the only thing that seems to agree across the board. I mean if you're eating cookies and potatoe chips all day, yes that can lead to that stuff and it's not healthy for you. If you're eating french fries and a burger every day, it's not healthy for you. That's the thing, you guys are saying carbs arn't bad, but I can talk to other people who say it's super bad and leads to heart disease and diabetes etc. There is no 100% agreement on any of this stuff which is what makes it hard to figure out. It's just all so confusing.
French fries right now are my weakness. Whether it's poutine, or just fries I do in the actifry at home. Should probably try to cut those out.

i need this now
I recently got a great little kitchen gizmo, been enjoying bagel & egg breakfast sandwiches for weeks now!
That looks like a really cool device. I kinda hate having so many purpose built gadgets but considering I want to eat healthier and eggs are one of those staples that have tons of nutrients and are annoying to cook on a pan I might actually consider this. I guess throwing it on a bagel kinda cancels out the health benefits, but moderation I guess.![]()
yeah definitely pitching the french's ketchup tonight. I wanted to say dinner but wanted see if americans get triggered by supper
