what do you call that part underneath your keys on your laptop?

my little girl managed to pull off one of the keys on my laptop and lost the little rubber feet that the key sits on top of. does anyone know what that part is called? its for an inspiron 8600.

Get a new laptop keyboard. They don't sell the individual components of the keyboard assembly, just the entire assembly.

bzzzz. wrong. i got a new spacebar for my laptop from dell. i put stepper motors on it and made an auto-spacebar pusher for MMOs that kick you off when you are AFK for 15 minutes. they sent it to me at the cost of shipping.

i really am. i am one of those guys you hear about that sold accounts on everquest. ive done it in a few games actually, but most notably in EQ. city of heroes kicked you off after 20 minutes of being AFK, and that was annoying, so i made my space-o-matic (thats what i called it) that i described above to keep me logged in. i had 6 accounts, but i could only play 5 at once and i had to leave my laptop in a different room, so i frequently forgot to go tap the space bar every 15 minutes.
