What do YOU believe to be the MISSING LINK in human evolution?

lirion, no it doesn't (follow)...

in fact, your line of reasoning is non sequitur, for the simple fact that the theory suggests that humans were genetically created as adults - excluding any [darwinian] evolutionary processes from the mix...

add flour.

It depends on what theory you subscribe to I suppose. If you believe that we are beings from another planet that colonised this planet then we would almost have to be unique genically among this world's organisms. But if you believe that we were created by extraterrestrials to live on this planet, then I suppose they might create us using local genetic material. But I don't really buy that an alien race would tailor make us to live on this world out of genetic material that was already found here anyway. Just doesn't make sense to me.

<< Just doesn't make sense to me. >>

it doesnt have to though. at what point is small and at what point is large? does that makes sense? im sure there are mysteries to existense that will never be discovered and the true purpose of them will probably not make any sense to anyone

lirion, u're secondarily assuming that the genetic constituents/base of organisms from this other alien planet are different from our own...

it is completely possible (and perhaps highly probable), that evolution tends toward earth-like genetics...even assuming dissimilar environments...
but it is also possible that the alien planet similarly resembles our own, as do the organisms, plants, and environment...

thus, we wouldn't have ot be genetically unique.

it wouldn't make as much sense unless you actually read one of the books. It really is worth looking at if you ask me. When my friend presented it to me, I thought he was going nuts, but now I still consider him the budha (he really is 'special'). As I read Abduction to the 9th Planet I look out for any flaws I might find, and boy did I find a lot. Everything in the book (and everything in the online faq) is just so far-out, but when I took them back to my friend he disproved all my doubts... after that, I have yet to doubt it's validity. I particularly liked this part in the FAQ:

<< Q. What about skeptical scientists ? What do they say ?

A. Basically, they say that The Book is fiction or even bullshit, until they actually read and study it. One academic resisted for a long time, saying that he does not read paranoia and bullshit. Finally he agreed to read the book, as "science fiction". When asked about his opinion of the book, he answered: ' Well, in my opinion there are 3 possibilities '

It is a lie. In this case I must admit that it is the best lie I have ever come across, and possibly the best lie of the century. It clicks so well with our past and present that it is simply unbelievable.
This guy (Michel) is a literary genius. It is like Einstein+100*J.Verne (my comment: Michel is a farmer with no education and has never written anything before, except letters to his mother)
It is really true
You have to read the book yourself to make your own choice.

hehe🙂 maybe the super advanced beings(aliens) became androids in their leap from natural to tech evolution... kinda like in ai 🙂 make long space journeys far easier atleast.
