Lots of stuff, but my favorite toppings (not all at once)...ghost peppers, wasabi mayo, crispy onions, bacon, peanut butter, truffle butter, grilled onions, steaksauce...

But never cheese

So it's Super Bowl time so decided to make some burgers/hot dogs on the outdoor griddle. Yummy. Made some fries on the power burner too.

A shame you had to ruin that dog with ketchup. Otherwise, it looks like a solid plate.

Ketchup is fine on hotdogs. It's a hotdog, not one of those fancy pants brats.

When I was living in NYC I swear its an east coast religion to put no sauce on a burger. Lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, cheese maybe. It was an abomination.

for seasoning the beef , sauteed onions - 1/2 mix into ground beef, 1/2 for toping, s&p, bold red wine. lettuce and tomato for topping. Usually no sauces.

Ummm yeah you basically were supposed to choose between mayo, ketchup, or both. You put it on yourself. They came with the burger, on the side. Now they all come with some sauce.

Thats some bullshit. A sauce is part of the burger. WTF is this anarchy? Put it on myself? They don't even give me a side of bbq sauce or aioli or nothing.

Philistines.

I went to McDonald's once and they put six more hamburgers on top of the one hamburger. Six patties that is. ;)

Yellow mustard is a fine thing for burgers, particularly if one is also applying mayo and onions. Contrary to what every fast food joint does, ketchup and mustard don't work well together on burgers.

Most people won't remember this thing but back in the early 2000s Wendy's had this ridiculous quad decker burger with bacon on it. Being young and liking meat at the time I ordered this thing as a treat when traveling for work. It was then I learned there were limits even for such a depraved individual as myself. The thing was a disgustingly greasy ball of meat on a bun.

I actually really love mustard. I mix with ketchup for the fries sometimes even. And honey mustard is the best dipping sauce.

Burger
mustard
bottom bun

mayo

lettuce
ketchup

onion
mustard
bottom bun.
