In light of recent news of a delay of lauch until beginning of 2007, I started to read into Vista features set thinking that the delay must be due to some exciting features MS is implementing. But the more I read the more I feel Vista isn't worth upgrading from Win XP sp2/3. Seems like some underlying changes are coming in Vista like IPv6 etc but largely there aren't anything major to upgrade tp. They even dropped their new WinFS file system which would have been a major upgrade like FAT -> NTFS upgrade that vastly improved file integrity, very worthy upgrade. But all the anti spam/virus features of Vista seem to me can easily be replaced by 3rd party warez that probbaly has far more features. The GUI stuff is pretty to look at but then again, not something that makes an upgrade that much more appealing.
 
It's total crap and Vole knows it.

They are going to rewrite 60% of it's code.
Looks like another 5 billion bucks well spent
