What do you all think of Opera?

I downloaded Opera 5 2days ago and at first thought what the hell this is crab...

you know you get those commercials in the upper right hand corner and say this is the most annoying thing in the world, and then they want you to pay?

But then I kind of got used to it and thought well that isn't too bad how Opera is made up...

There are a lot of nice features and programs included...

ex. there is something like gozilla! already in opera included and you have really easy access to your computer and the windows are flipping smoothly...


well I don't know, but then there is other stuff that isn't too great, for example the java feature sometimes doesn't work... or in some cases it never works... I tried to access my banking account, which opens from a SSL server in an java applet... does not work...? I don't know why...

Well but anyway now I am using it more than IE...

What do you all think..?

tell me if you know any java update to get things working correctly....

I think it's an awesome browser. Considering its small size and it's based on their own engine (not Gecko or Mosaic).

I have a registered version of Opera, which does not have any adverts.

I think that it is brilliant! At first I was a bit confused with the multiple window layout, but once I got used to that I found it to be very eay to use and it loads up pages very quickly, sometimes quicker then Internet Explorer 5.5.

I still use IE5.5 as my main browser, because a few webpages do not come up properly, but much less than with Netscape.

Since getting Opera, I have deleted Netscape off my system! It is slow, quite a lot of pages don't display properly and it can be buggy! :frown:

In short Opera is great and Netscape is a load of c**p.

Hmmm. I've used both Netscape and Opera for quite a long while and prefer both to IE. My age is showing again ...
