What do you all carry in your car for emergencies?

All I have is.......

1) Jack and tools to change tire

2) dupont sontara wipes for cleaning grease and other messes and spills

3) All in one multi-tool --> http://www.plunderguide.com/gerber-octane-multi-tool/

4) small flashlight

That is pretty much it. I don't live in a snowy climate so I don't need anything related to snowy climates.

I have a full emergency kit in the trunk but I haven't looked in it in years. Has a flashlight, flares, jumpers, gloves, first aid kit, all that good stuff. Thankfully all I've ever had to use is the jumpers.

Air compressor that connects to the cigarette lighter, jumper cables, flares, flashlight, fix-a-flat .. and I guess whatever comes with the car stock. I imagine it's a spare tire + jack.

I forgot about fix a flat. Will get one now. Towing rope and jumper cables is on my list as well.

...to what everyone's got, add a spare set of wiper blades....comes in handy here in south Florida where you can go blind in a good thunderstorm.

In the car:

- OE jack / lug wrench
- small 55pc tool kit
- additional large flat head and phillips screwdrivers
- two flashlights
- tarp
- blanket
- jumper cables
- duct tape
- a few bungee cords
- couple of lighters
- glow sticks (for illuminating vehicle / occupants if the vehicle dies)
- pair of gloves
- hooded sweat shirt

In the truck (in addition to everything above):

- about 200ft of nylon rope
- 3/4 breaker bar and set of 15 SAE + 15 metric deep sockets
- a few spare bulbs
- tow cable
- ratchet straps
- various fluids (oil, water, washer fluid, tire slime, etc.)
- 12v tire inflator

It sounds like a lot of stuff, but in the car, it all fits into the center console or a small crate in the trunk. In the case of the truck, it's a high miles vehicle, and what I'd use to bail someone out if they got stuck, hence the extra junk.

Whatever comes stock with the car, plus a little emergency tool that can both cut seatbelts and punch out a window if the car is submerged.

Cell phone.
AAA card.

Never needed them yet in over 30 years of driving. I do carry a flashlight, but it's not for emergency's, it's just for seeing in the dark.

For day to day, my cell phone. Nothing else is really necessary to me. For extended trips I have a kit with various fluids and tools.

Really just the stock jack, medical kit, gloves, hat, and blanket. Mostly basic stuff plus a few things if the car dies in the winter and I'm not real appropriately dressed.

I try to plan for worst case scenario, in addition to the OE stuff for changing a tire, I carry:

Road flares
Small "emergency" toolkit (basic first aid/sockets/screwdrivers/zip ties/jumper cables)
Portable air pump
Portable jump box so I can jump myself (need to occasionally recharge it)
Tire gauge
Torque wrench (also use this whenever a dealer or shop has R&R my wheels)
Fix a flat
Blanket (2 in the winter, also in the winter I tossed my boots/gloves and a change of clothes in there)
good flashlight with extra batteries
water (in a pinch could use water for coolant)
snack bars
small usb battery pack to charge my phone
quart of oil
roll of electrical tape

I'd like to bring my floor jack as most OE are still called widow makers, but it's size and the limited space in the Evo makes that pretty much impossible.

I have my jack, tire iron (the large cross ones), a cheater bar, socket set, screw driver set, flashlight, first aid kit (with whatever is in there, I've no idea), jumper cables, and on long trips my Colt Commander.

Jumper cables, flares, mini-air compressor, and the stock tire/jack/lug wrench combination.

Spare radiator hoses and screw clamps for them since factory spring clamps can be impossible to install.

Duct tape, which can sometimes repair a broken hose.

Spare drive belts.

Enough drinking water for the cooling system and all the humans.

Several quarts of motor oil.

In cold climates, a sleeping bag or at least space blankets.

Jumper cables since it's much easier to find other batteries but not cables.

Jumper cables, AAA card.

Use to carry a big cross tire wrench, but the card handles thatm and have used the cheaper version before.
