Hello people,

I am new around here - Is Anandtech mainly for hard ware people only or do people come from other back grounds too?

I am a programmer who came to the Anandtech hot deals forum few months back and just got curious.

If I had to describe anandtech forums, we have a big group of people who mainly post in the hot deals forums, others that are techies that post in the tech forums, some who stick to stimulating conversation here in the off topic forum and people like me who like to do a little of everything. One awesome thing about the off topic forum is that if you have a comment or question on virtually anything, someone is bound to respond.

Im banned at all the other forums, so im here..heheheheh.....

Im an accountant for an engineering co. I have a lot of free time during the day (gotta love accounting software), so I hang out here. The people are cool (a lot of them do nothing more then bitch a pick about things) but it is still a great place to chill =)
