Using a old laptop lcd screen and some how removing it and hooking it up to a regular PC? Is this physically possible? MIght be a cheaper solution instead of buying a new lcd screen.

 
Don't see why its not possible and have seen to done b4. But I wouldn't know how to do it myself......I would read up on it first...
 
U know of any links on who have done it? I'm really interested. Got a lot of spare time, but no spare money to buy a LCD screen heh.
 
Yes it is possible to hook up a computer 15pin connector to an lcd display but you do need a converter board (i.e. Digital View SVP-1280) Go to www.digitalview.com and you should be able to figure it out. Hope this helps. Later, RaW
