It's not all that fast in the gaming benchmarks but it's a small enough difference that you probably wouldn't notice it.

I almost bought on, but no multiplier adjustments sort of sucks. And I'd rather wait for the A7V266 (KT266)...

Anand told me it's been a pretty good board for him, but it's not something he would buy.

Oh yeah Anand's comments were in this thread.

Well it's the best board on the Ali Magik1 chipset IMHO. Overall, it's a great board but I'm not too fond of the chipset. Too may RAM incompatibility issues, it's extremely picky about what RAM it uses. it's pretty slow compared to the other DDR based Athlon chipsets.

I'd recommend holding out till' you can get a KT266 board with DDR and SDRAM slots.

I don't think DDR boards are worth it right now. It'd rather get a A7V133 than a A7V266. Maybe the next gen DDR boards with lower latency DDR will widen the gap.

KT133A is the best choice now.

But I like the A7V266 for the upgrade path. I think when CPUs start pushing 2Ghz DDR will make a bigger difference. But I could be wrong.

After all at 2Ghz you'll have a 15x multiplier....
