What do these car abbreviations stand for?

LX, SX, EX, HX, VTEC, DOHC...theres more but what do they all mean?

DOHC = Dual Over Head Cams

VTEC = Variable Valve Timing And Lift Electronic Control (the acronym leaves out some letters because "VVTLEC" doesn't roll off the tongue easily).

LX, HX, SX, EX, DX, etc = trim levels. They are arbitrary in general.
