What do the Ratios mean?

I posted this in the CPU section, but I don't know if this would be better or not. When people talk about ocing I always see things like mem ratio set at 1:1 and 4:5...what does all of that mean? Sorry for the noob question.

It's the ratio of cpu fsb to memory fsb. For example, a 4 to 3 ratio would mean that if the cpu is set to run at 133 fsb, the memory would be running at 100 (both quad pumped- x4 for the P4 platform).
