What do people use to OC their card?

Hey, so Im a new owner of the gigabyte 670 OC and its been a long while since I had an Nvidia card. Someone care to tell me which program they use to OC and test for artifacts or does everyone just use their proprietary cd that came with their card?

I use the drivers from the Nvidia/AMD website, Afterburner to overclock, and actual gameplay to test for stability/artifacts.

I used EVGA Precision but frankly the cards are so fast that I decided to keep them stock.

Yes, it doesn't have to specifically be an MSI card. Afterburner will work for most cards out there, as long as it has support for the on-board voltage controller specific to that card.

So Im on Msi afterburner now and my core clock is showing max +0. What is a decent number to start with on the Core clock and Memory clock and go from there? Also on my ati 5850 I would be able to see the actual core and memory clocks but this one is just + #
