so what do people w/ MBA's do? I have seen signs at my school, where it says that any major can get an MBA, i.e, music majors, basket weaving majors can get MBA....but what do you do w/ an mba?

For me, I am a math major, and if I get an MBA, is that a good step? what can I do w/ a math/MBA?

You cant get a MBA from a credible program with out 3 years work experiance after completing your undergrad degree. Most top programs require 6-8 years work experiance. Executive MBA programs typically require 10+.

As for what they do? They oversee and run things. Thats basically the jist of it.

What about schools that have programs allowing you to go for an MBA while in your junior year of undergrad? Does that mean lots of internships are going to be required?

For a second I thought that Social Enterprise was Social Engineering... :Q

Wow... once you get that degree... I can mess with people!!! 😛😀

I have a friend with an MBA. He doesn't have a job, sits around and smokes a lot of pot.

Hope this helps!

Heh. I had a guy that rented out a room in my basement for a while. He had an MBA and now mooches off of his girl friend while peddling Amway to people.

Another guy I knew had an MBA as well and he sold tires at a firestone station for $14 an hour.

I have an MBA degree. I work as an Analyst/Specialist for a Fortune 500 company. You can do many things with an MBA degree. You can work as consultant for the big consultant firms or work in the banking and investment firms. As long as you know what you doing/saying and have a "can do" attitude, you can go as far as you want in corporate ladder.
