if somebody could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

What does the nu mean in 6800nu and how about vanilla card, i assume that's just a plain 6800 as opposed to a gt? What are "artifacts" that you're supposed to look for when you oc the video card?

thanks

Non-Ultra ;)

which is the same thing as a 'vanilla' card AFAIK..just a plain 6800.

Artifacts are little errant specks and lines (can be white or coloured) that appear on a image, you'll recognise them as they are usually clearly not intended to be there in my experience ;)

"Non-Ultra" aka "Vanilla"

Artifacts are visual anomalies, like textures that don't change, or texture corruption when rendering a 3d scene. They are usually an indicator that your memory is running at a higher clockspeed than it can handle.
