What do I wear to my baccalaureate?

I should have prepare sooner because my high school baccalaureate is in 30 mins. It's going to be held at a local church...how do people usually dress for this?

slacks, dress shirt, tie, shiny shoes that match the pants. socks that match both. a belt too. don't you have a gown?

Just nice clothes, I would imagine. I'm pretty sure you don't need your cap and gown unless they said you did. Baccalaureate is somewhat informal.

For us, the bac. and graduation ceremony are different, so I don't wear a gown today...Saturday is the graduation ceremony for me.

Do I wear a sports coat?

I didn't go to mine, but most the guys wore slacks, dress shoes and a dress shirt.

I guess slacks and any long sleeved button up collar shirt will do.
