What do I use a clear highlighter for?

I was at a job fair last week and the companies were handing out their standard promotional trinkets. From one I got a triangular piece of plastic with a highlighter at each corner. One cap is yellow, one is pink, and the third one is white. The highlighter inside appears to be clear. It's not like it's white ink. What is this possibly used for?

Highlight pencil with it and you can't erase!

it's not clear, it's empty

the product looked better with 3 tips, but 2 real ones and one fake one were cheaper....they saved approximatley 1/3rd of a cent and most are none the wiser

but now that you know i'm gonna have to kill you

What happens if you overwrite something you highlighted with one of the colors?

Could it be just a defective item? Perhaps the "clear" one should have been green or blue?

Its actually highlighter remover. Highlight something, then go over it with the clear and it will "erase" the highlight.

Invisible ink?

I thought of that. No blacklight here to check. :(

It's not empty. There is a tip under the cap and it has liquid in it like a regular highlighter. It just has no pigment.

What happens if you overwrite something you highlighted with one of the colors?

Woah, it's like anti-highlighter. If I do the clear first neither color will go on top. If I do pink or yellow first the clear will remove it.

We here have anti-highlighter! :D I've never seen this before.
