what do i need to share a printer?

Hey, what tools or software do I need to share 1 printer with 2 computers? Am I going to have to create a mini network or something like that?
 
Very important! You need a printer. j/k. 😀

For Small Home Network.

Hardware wise there are few options.
1. Router with LPT.
2. Network Capable Printer
3. Printer attached to one computer, and shared with the rest of the Network.

Option 3 is the most common since it is the cheapest. However the computer with the printer has to be On, even if no one works on the computer.

Setting the Sharing of the printer is part of the OS.

Oh, a printer, no wonder I couldn't print anything...haha, but yah, I went with option 3. It was pretty easy. And I did notice that the computer that is hooked up to the printer has to be turned on...that kinda sux, but I can live with it...I guess I should try to look into how to share printer w/o having to have the comp it's attached to on. Well, thanx a lot bro.
