Hey all,
I can't get my ram to run at 1T so I wonder what the problem is. My ram is 2 X 512MB Twinmos (standard ram) CL2.5, my motherboard is a GA-K8NXP-SLI and my cpu is an athlon 3500+ winchester. Whenever I set the "Enable 2T timing" to disable computer won't even post....Do I need better ram or something? I am planning on getting 2 X 512MB Kingston HyperX 3500 CL2.5, will this ram do the job @ running 1T?

What Ram divider are you using and what oltage is the Ram getting? Maybe bump up the voltage and see if it takes it then....

I haven't heard of this problem before... but I'd check your VDIMM and try giving it a little more voltage for no reason, especially if it's high-end RAM (if you have BH-5, that is known to love voltage).

I am using standard twinmos value ram CL2.5 2X512MB @ the default 2.6 voltage.
Also, I noticed that when using 1 stick 1X512MB it succesfully runs @ 1T. When I use 2 sticks I only managed to run @ 1T by setting the diviver to 100/200....so my fsb was 200 and my ram was running @ 100(....extremely slow)..and I also loosened the timings...SO does this mean that it's my memory? I want to make sure it's not the motherboard or the cpu

That sounds more like a motherboard issue. Gigabyte NF4 boards are known to have stability issues at 1T, and they usually fix that with a BIOS update.

I see...is there any chances to my cpu's(athlon 64 3500+ winchester) has got a faulty memory controler? Also I got a codegen 400W PSU...could that be the problem?

What's the rails on it? 400w should be sufficient. Codegen makes server cases so I would expect it to at least be a decent PSU.
