What do I need to play my Xbox using a standard CRT monitor?

Try getting your hands on a KD-Xblaster or a component to vga transcoder similar. Beyond the adaptor you'll need component cables for the Xbox. After that, go into the dash board of your Xbox and enable 480p and 720p. If your Xbox is up to date with Live patches, try holding down on both triggers and analog sticks to have the Dash board be displayed in 480p. Kinda' handy if your monitor does not support 480i.
