hey all...didnt know where to put this, and i thought it was a pretty general question, so i put it in here 😀....im planning on havin a little halo tourney at my house in which we will have 2 xbox's on different tv's, and i was wondering what i need to network them....do i just need some regular cat5 patch cable?? or do i need crossover cable or an entire network with a hub....ive been looking around different sites, and all i seemed to find was that you need a hub to use 4 systems...mainly what i need to know is if i need regular cable or some other kind....thanks guys

It's just like a PC LAN. If you are directly connecting the boxes with 1 cable you need crossover, if you are using a hub or a switch in between you need the regular patch cable.

Just to reiterate what zeeliv said, to connect 2 xboxes you use a crossover cable.

In order to connect more than that, you use regular cat5 along with a hub (or switch) with as many ports as needed.

You also can go online
