What do I need to fix?

Hi,

I thought I was good to go with install for pc I am building and for second time in last month or two.. problems with nvidia control panel. I have tried with latest ngohq and Omega nVidia drivers and in both cases, I am not able to make changes that stick.

For instance, I wanted to set desktop brightness to 40 percent and contrast to 45 to spare the eyes.. once I moved sliders, program overwrote or something and moved right back to 50 and 50.

Any ideas on how to get control over the sliders?

If they were DISABLED, you could use Turniton to enable the controls.

It lets you access disabled features. But as the sliders are RESETTING
its hard to determine if that will work.

Check.

You might also want to uninstall all nvidia software/hardware and do
a fresh install.
