I have the shuttle ak31 kt266a and I can get pci video working but not agp video. I've tried just about everything i can think of. I downloaded the via 4 in 1's and ive tried countless changes in the bios. Nothing works. When i boot using my nvidia card only, no signal comes to my monitor. If i have both it just goes to the voodooo 5 pci i have.

there should be a setting, mabye youve already tried it, in the bios that says "primary video boot device" or something like that. Set it to AGP not PCI.... if not then i think you have a faulty mobo..... hope i helped.

is the card seated properly? maybe a bad video card... have another computer you can test it in, or maybe another agp video card you can try.

skypilot, i already set this and it does not help. dbcrossfire, the video card does work. i tried it in my old mobo as a test while it was malfunctioning in my new one. also, it is seated properly in the drive.

Although you say you already tried what everyone else mentioned with no luck, I'm going to second their suggestions. Set the BIOS setting to AGP video card, and then make absolutely sure that the card is seated properly. AGP cards can be a pain to get in all the way, they're just tighter for some reason. It sounds to me like the card just isn't in all the way. If you're certain it is in all the way, then you might want to try a different AGP card, as your motherboard might have a problem with the NVidia card. If you can't get it to work with a different card that you know works, I'd guess your AGP slot is dead. In that case, it's RMA time...

I concur

did you take the PCI card out and try booting with the AGP card only?
