What do I need to charge my ipod in Australia?

I am studying abroad in Australia this January and I am not bringing a laptop along. I want to know what I need to be able to charge my ipod while "down under." I know I'll need a coverter to be able to plug it into the wall, but do I need any sort of transformer? or anything to alter the wattage/voltage that is going into the ipod? I don't want to fry it while I'm down there, the plane ride home will be bad enough. 😉 Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Look on the charger itself and see what voltage and frequency ranges it accepts. If it's a universal charger, it will run on 100 thru 240V and at 50 or 60 Hz. Then all you'll need is a plug adapter. If it is for American standard only (115 at 50/60), then you may need a dropping transformer (or a universal charger might be a cheaper option) - not sure what voltage they run there.

If its like my sons ipod mini, and PC with a USB port will charge it. No PC's at all available while you're there ? Not the same way to charge ?

Thanks guys. The ipod charger will take 100-240 @ 50-60, so I guess all I need is a plug adapter that will attach to a figure 8 cable. That's what these guys said here. Any idea where I can get one before I leave? They suggested I get one while I am there, but I want to get it before I leave it at all possible.
