My trusty old Soyo Dragon + is giving me problems, it freezes for no reasons I can see. I have checked the 1900+ processor and memory etc and all is OK, but it just stops or goes to a blank screen in any program or when sat doing nothing at night. Any one any ideas?

So I am going to buy a new 939. I have to use my old disk drives at the moment but will upgrade to SATA in a few months. The budget is tight so it will be a 3000+ Winchester CPU with 1 Gig of DDR2 and the cheapest reasonable graphics card that can drive two monitors (with seperate resolutions) untill I can get a PCIe Parhelia. Question is which board? I would like it to be as future proof as possible, it has to have IDE raid for now and SATA raid for later preferable upto raid 5, it does not need SLi, it must have networking and sound but not wireless although I would have it if it meets other specs. I am prepared to spend more on the memory now, is it worth going to the max DDR2 in the hope that new CPU's will make good use of it? So which board, which card and what memory?

I am prepared to wait for Nforce4 and ATI boards to be available.

Thanks in advance guys
