What do I need to burn DVDs from my Optura 20 Videocam?

I will probably get into this and start upgrading hardware etc... but, for now, I just want to take what is on the tape and straight burn it to DVD (I have a burner).

Correct me if I am wrong, but I guess I need:
XXXGB of HDD space
Software
Video capture card?

I hope I have the first one covered (113GB). Any recommendations for basic stuff needed for the rest of it?
