I bought the Altec Lansing XA3021 speakers a while ago and I have a chembook 2056. The plugs that I would assume be the ones to go into the laptop are a little bit too big for the normal plugs in my laptop. Do I need to buy something to make them smaller? There is two plugs...the red and the white. Any information would be excellent.

Thanks fellas
Stu

Is there only one output from your laptop? If so, then I'm going to guess you need a male stereo 1/8" to dual mono female RCA (this can be found at any radioshack).

Since you don't have a line-out jack you'll have to use the Headphone out jack and the adapter I mentioned above.

Much appreciated. Do they carry those at Best Buy? I know where that is here in Eau Claire. I'm a college student up here and I'm not quite sure where everything is yet.
