yup, most likely you need the divx codecs.. another good codec to have is the nimo codecs.. these can also be found for free..

just do a search in any search engine for "nimo codecs" and you'll come up with a lot of results.
 
Nimo codec packs can do bad things, they screwed up the audio in Freelancer for me.

I use FFDShow instead. Check google, it's the best divx codec available, IMO.
