I'm tired of people not accepting the evidence that inflating tires to sidewall is perfectly safe and that in a lot of cases, the tires will not wear down the center but instead wear evenly. I know we've had this discussion over and over and I'm, thanks to the majority, they declare me "owned" simple because some asshats post a link and then proclaims "end of discussion".

So what exactly do I need to post or do in order to prove you that all the companies generic -absolve themselves of liability statements are just that. No really, what do I have to do? In a scientific community, when someone proclaims to have a new theory, they write a paper that backs up what they're saying with evidence. People read the paper, are skeptical, but some might even go as far to doing their own study, writing their own paper and before long, it becomes an accepted theory because enough people have tried it for themselves and found it to give consistent results that prove the theory.

The topic of over inflated tires has already been discussed many times over.

Accept the fact that AT is filled with pretentious dicks with superiority complexes. They tend to band together regardless of any logic presented.

First, tell us why you care so much.

Because of the fact that fuel economy can be improved, some cases it's only 5% but others can be very substantial like with my truck where I gained 15%. I want everybody to reduce their CO2 footprint, and it's a hell of a lot easier to tell people to raise their tire pressure than to buy a new/different vehicle.

Oh and if you want to shut someone up, cut out their tongue or kill them.

Nobody really cares. At least to the degree that you do. I've told you before that this tire pressure thing is an obsession with you.

Find yourself a girlfriend and busy yourself with things other than tires and tire pressures. Here, you're on a quest that has both no end and most importantly, no purpose. Although at this point I'm pretty certain that there is one of two things going on. You're either fucking with us, or you're truly mentally off. First thing in the morning on a school day and you're posting this shit. Your credibility is zero.

There ya go! :)

Remember our little talk about possessives. It just warms my heart that you are such a special little boy as to learn absolutely nothing in the course of your repeated vacations. Such willful ignorance is so hard to find in the young people today. Oh, to be 16 again.

You can start by maybe explaining this concept to us instead of assuming that everyone who clicks your thread knows what the heck you are talking about.

What does inflate tires to sidewall mean?

I drive with whatever it says on tire to inflate to. Unless I go off road then I like 12-20lbs for less jarring and more surface area touching ground for better traction.

the problem with inflating your tires higher is it changes the driving dynamics of the car. you lose traction easier and can spin out/crash in emergency situations. how about your carbon foot print when you require a new car built vs. saving a couple % in mpg.
