What do I do with money orders?

Sorry, I just got my first money order from a sale, and I don't quite know how to cash it because I've never used or gotten on before. Is it like a real check? i.e. can I just sign it and deposit it in an atm like a regular check or do I have to go to the bank teller and get it cashed?

You can just deposit it in your bank account, or get it cashed at your local bank.
