What do I do now

Read a thread here the other night about credit reports and decided to pull mine because there was information in it I knew to be incorrect. So I signed up, pulled the report, and it's empty. I just tried it again with experain (sp?) and was told I couldn't sign up because there has to be at least one item in the report. In other words, 32 years of financial history has vanished. I can see maybe one of the three reporting agency's loosing it all, but two I flat out don't believe. Either something is very wrong, or I don't understand how the system works at all. What do I do next, who do I call? I'm kind of stumped as to what the next step is.

Have you requested a copy in writing?
