What do I do about ping requests?

I tried asking this in OT since I didn't think it belonged anywhere in particular and got no response so I thought I'd try here;

I keep getting ICMP ping requests from MP3.com. Does anyone have any reasonable idea why this might happen? It seems to have started when someone on my little network visited their site, now I get ping requests from them at intervals from 1 to 12 hours apart and from different servers. Being that these make up the majority of my log entries, it seems a bit odd to me. So, I guess my main question is this, should I be worried about it? Or should I just brush it off and hope they stop filling up my log? It's been a week since it started and it appears to be growing in frequency even though nobody on my network has visited the site since.

Does Mp3.com offer ANY type of streaming media? If any, my educated guess would be mp3's! 😀

Anyway, if they do, then whoever else is on your network might be getting a stream from mp3.com and in the process the server sends out pings to verify the connection is still there.
