What do doctors get from drug reps?

apparently i received 68 bucks in food in 2014.

Mine has gotten $1241, mostly in $10-$12 lunches it appears. Scandal.

If suppliers bought me lunch, I'd be fired.

So, 90% of cardiologists are "fancy enough"?

You have to look at the practice. Cardiology = drugs. End of story. Family practice write very few scripts any more outside of dirt cheap antibiotics. Everything else gets referred out to specialists.

What do you do? All my engineer friends get tons of "presents" from contractors (which I'm sure are against policy, not that it matters).

Are the drug companies still hiring former cheerleaders as reps?

Pretty much.

Drug Reps and a lot of HR people seem to fall into that category from my experience.
