The Chinese are making cheap electronics and everything else. The Americans are fat and lazy and like to pray a lot.

As long as the Chinese boom continues to fuel WA's resource market, China FTW!

Almost everything I own, electronically speaking, has Chinese markings on it, if you dig a little deeper. :(
I remember when Pioneer sound gear was pretty good stuff. Recently I bought a packaged surround system. I was shocked when I saw that most of the components came from China. Damnit, it used to say "made in Japan". In those days you were getting a pretty good product.
Guess I'll be moving to Denon...FTW. ;)

Made in Japan electronics are bulletproof, just like American made home appliances back in the days. My parents still have fridge, vacuum cleaner, washer/dryer that were made in the 80s. Now everything breaks after the warranty expires. Even the much vaunted Sony products are crap now, since they're made in Mexico or China.
