I recall there being at least a few write ups on what certain colours mean to us humans sub-conciously, when we wear them.

Anyone have any info to share...

There's lots of different meanings, search for color meanings on yahoo....

aqua - modest, insightful, composed

blue - honest, realistic, supportive

dark blue - intelligent, responsible
black - disciplined, strong-willed, independent
green - benevolent, humanistic
dark green - serious, scientific
goldenrod - successful, effusive
gray - passive, noncommittal, stressed
lavender - calming, relaxing
maroon - sensuous, emotional, gregarious
orange - competent, organized, impatient
purple - intuitive, regal, spiritual
pink - affectionate, loving, emotional
dark pink - reserved, sensitive
red - ambitious, energetic, courageous
bright red - important, exciting, priority
sky blue - creative, perceptive, imaginative
teal - idealistic, faithful
yellow - communicative, expressive, social
white - individualistic, pure
neon green - innovative, adventuresome
neon orange - caution, expectant
neon pink - enthusiastic, confident
neon red - bold, spirited

Red is a power color. If you wear a red tie, you are trying to dominate your audience.

Blue are more of a somber colors. Wear blue to create a more calming affect.

Yellow is usually apprehension or anxiousness.
