Seriously, just out of the blue some English lady asks me if I'm British. Then all my wife's co-workers make the same determination when they see a picture of me. My wife tells the story all the time and people go, oh ya I can see that. Um.

I don't know, but British people are usually distinguishable from Americans... I don't know if it's hairstyles or the fact that they're usually ugly and have bad teeth or what. British men that is.

I think that most white Europeans have a distinct look for their country. In the US, only the first couple of generation of immagrants share the look of their ancestors but it quickly changes.
