Well, I can give you a little perspective. My cousin just returned from Iraq and that is the question I posed to him. His answer, the overwhelming majority he encountered was glad to see Saddam go and just want to have a normal life. Go to work, school, raise a family. From what he has seen and heard the biggest problem in Iraq right now is the influence and presence of many foreigners who wish to turn Iraq into WWWIII. He encountered many people form Iran whose sole purpose in being in Iraq was to stick it to the Americans.

After listening to him it becomes quite evident that unless the country is cleansed of all these instigators, Iraq will become the next Afghanistan. A country ruled by terrorists.

Funny, my cousin who came to visit us 2 months ago said everyone was grateful at first, but now after no employment for months, power going on and off, water scarcity, they stop being grateful. Little Iraqi kids start throwing stones at him and his unit everyday.

Wheres your cousin stationed btw?

Why didn't he just round those people up? (and shoot them) The Iraqis wouldn't care if you took away Iranians.

Where was he in Iraq or where is he now. Right now at Camp Lejune. He is a marine. From what I can tell about where in Iraq it was multiple places. He mentioned several cities. I will ask.

He also said he encountered disgruntled Iraqis, but the ones who were shooting at him where former loyalists or terrorists sent here from other countries. His unit arrested several hundered people from other countries.
