What do AT'ers like to do in San Diego...?

Other than have an ice cold one =DDD

I will be there without a job...(interviewing) so some of the days I will have the entire day free less the work I need to get done...

So what should I do in SD? Places to eat? Visit? Museums?

+D Anything flies! I like activities! (active activities are also welcome)

LOL dug777 ... I don't want to do the usual touristy things...those are boring...I mean those who live in SD- what do they like to do? Where do they drink and eat? Where do they spend time and enjoy themselves? Do some go fishing? Others paintballing?

Are the museums any good? Recommendations? Clubs? Activities? Gambling? =DDD I'm gona be meeting my buddy there but I was wondering what the AT crowd likes to do in SD aside from Seaworld =D

san diego has a bit of everything. there are nice beaches for hanging out, fishing, jetskiiing, surfing, etc.. there are great hiking/biking trails and nice peaks in mission trails. some of the best museums in balboa park. great food/bars in gaslamp. beautiful drives through the countryside. just depends, what do YOU like to do? I think you'll have a great time here. welcome to the neighborhood. where are you going to live?

I really enjoy fishing- I like grabbing really nice beer- IPA's ( i know westies are known for their bitters) I like to go biking, love FOOD!! All types, I hear a lot of Crab places on the piers?

I was thinking of visiting Russian River but it is freakin FARRR!!! from Downtown (little italy) is where I am going to be
