I have a 1GB PC3200 DIMM that cam out of a Dell Optiplex machine.

I'm trying to put it in an Epox 8RDA+ nForce 2 board.

It physically wont fit. The little divider in the DIMM slot doesn't line up with the slot on the RAM.

Am I just a moron who can't line up RAM, or are there more than 1 DIMM form factors?

Hmm, looks like it is DDR2.

Now what? Hmm...

Edit: Link was wrong, it's not ECC, link was to ECC ram.

You spend too much time in OT :p

I can't believe you didn't know about DDR2...

Looks like you can sell that or trade that at a profit & buy a gig of DDR400 instead :)
