Brother - we decided to skip this year since he bought himself a 61" TV, recording studio mix console, $1,300 office char and a bunch of other stuff, he now does have everything.

If anyone wants to try out pizza stone type cooking, you can buy some ceramic tile at the local home improvement store to see if it gives you the kind of results you like...

Nothing too big.

Mom:
Two silicone pot holders, two silicone pinch pots, silicone/stainless steel basting brush & Microplane grater with a handle and catch tray. Some stuff she needed/wanted.

Dad:
12v automotive air compressor & a bottle of Flora Springs Merlot. The wine was a mistake, I keep forgetting how much more of a jerk he gets when we drinks. Felt like decking him at one point.

I mostly gave little trinkets and junk to people.
I am taking my mother couch shopping tomorrow .. as her sofa is like 10 years old and needs replacement, and she can't afford a new one (fixed income.)

I'm tryin to convince her to go leather, but she's afraid her cat's back claws will poke holes (I have a cat and a leather couch at my place, cat does not poke holes with her claws)
