I got her a watch...

But here's a picture of Justin Bieber instead.

Band seems a little manly for a woman, but I really like dial for either sex. Looks influenced by 1920s/30s design.

She doesn't like small watches. She will love it.

She tried my watch on the other day and said she liked the size and that has a 41mm case.

I kissed my sweetie with my fist.

The 40's called and they want their misogynist joke back.

That's us. We bought a motorhome this year...that's our Christmas/B-day gifts for a couple of years...along with the trips we plan to take.

(she doesn't know it yet...I also bought her a Amazon Fire 10 tablet) :sneaky:

We rarely get each other gifts. I did get her an iPhone 6 - 64GB this year to replace her old iPhone 4s-16GB.

We quit exchanging gifts years ago. Neither of us needs anything. In fact, if I had my way, we'd get a rolloff dropped in the driveway so I could start getting rid of a bunch of shit we've accumulated over the years.

Instead of spending on each other that money goes to her kids and the grandkids. And even that is meager. Her family is not into expensive gift giving. They grew up dirt poor. Five siblings total and their dad passed away when many of them were quite young. They got by understanding that they had the necessities, not the frills. Their gift to each other consists mainly in being together at the holidays.

That's usually what we do for each other. Our Christmas gift is usually a new dining room table or some other home improvement. This is, by far, the most extravagant gift I've ever given her. She is worth it though.

Hope you enjoy the motorhome. I'd love to see some pics.

A leather tote, some boots, some earrings, a heated seat cover for her car, and I think something else.. all for under 500 bucks. We're not fancy people and, like others here, prefer to spend our money on travel/activities.

We always just go on a trip. Much more memorable to us than more 'stuff'. Went to Vegas for Christmas the last 2 years. Going to Maui this year (in lieu of a big summer vacation).

Alright since no one else is taking this thread seriously I will try.

I got her a matching end table for the other side of the sofa. This may seem trivial but finding a cheap piece of Chinese furniture from 5 years ago is a lot harder than it sounds. It's also a lot more expensive.

A couple of nice every day bras because she said she needed some and some matching underwear. A nice set of ear rings and a matching necklace to go with it. To round it out I got here a couple nick knacks for the shadow box and a new alarm clock because she doesn't like her current one.

I think she will like what I got her this year.

Honestly, I'm gonna spend all my money on a new windshield...current one is beyond repair.
