For my bday (Dec. 23rd):
TDK 12/10/32 burner - funny story, my uncle wanted to get me a new burner, so he had his friend (friend of mine too) ask me which burn I would choose to get for his sister (said that his sister was getting one) and I told him Plextor 12/10/32 - didn't mention TDK even though I knew it was the same, and evidently after calling Plextor up they don't sell those in any retail stores in DFW area. So he got me the Yamaha one...but we went to exchange it for the TDK cause I wanted burnproof. Good thing he was cool about it.

Ok so it was a bit of a bare christmas this year Mostly because I spent most of my own money on my new computer system and gifts for others. I also had a nice complement of birthday gifts back in November so there was less money left for Christmas in the minds of my family. You can probably tell which gifts were from my parents Baldurs Gate 2 I specifically asked for from a sibling.

Got a Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox (silver!) from my neighbor.

Bought myself a Nikon N80 QD with 28-80mm lens last month (But it was intended as a Christmas present)

Got a Peanuts Treasury book, with a lot of black and white comics from Charles Schulz. Got a leather belt, and then a Woodstock stuffed animal and a Christmas 2000 stuffed Bear. Also got a few other books.

Got myself snowboarding boots and pants (and partook in the Staples ELSA Gladiac Geforce 2 deal to replace my Geforce DDR). Some puzzles from www.elversonpuzzle.com from relatives in Portland, money from grandmother, luggage from relatives in Los Angeles, and a chunk of ham from another relative in NJ.
